A CQC compliance audit is an independent review of how your service measures up against the standards the CQC inspects. It suits any health and social care provider, from care homes, home care and supported living to independent doctors, private GPs, clinics and mental health services. Depending on the depth you need, it is delivered as a focused remote review or a full on-site mock inspection, with clear findings and a prioritised action plan either way.
A mock inspection is the full, on-site version of a compliance audit. "Compliance audit" is the broader term. With us it is delivered either as a full on-site mock inspection or a smaller, remote service health check, both reviewing your service against the standards the CQC inspects.
A focused remote review (our service health check) starts at £595 + VAT. A full on-site assessment (our mock inspection) is from £1,250 + VAT. Prices may be higher for larger or more complex services.

At least once a year, or after a significant change such as a new manager, a new service type, or a poor inspection result. Many providers run a focused audit between inspections to stay on top of compliance.
